Social Media Zombies

Hi, today morning once you woke up the app you opened , will certainly be a social media like Facebook, Twitter or Instagram or else surely it will be what's app. Yes, that's how we start off our day.

     Falling asleep by watching a series in Netflix or Amazon prime video and waking up by opening what's app messages or FB notifications. This is how our days are passing.

      For instance, if you enter into FB the first feed will be most appropriate to you and it make you to scroll down further and further, it's killing your time , just by scrolling down. You may say that I'm getting all the news updates from there and getting knowledge from there but did you ever thought about how your new feed are coming and it makes you to stay there atleast for half an hour without your knowledge. 

        If you have FB , Insta or Amazon shopping app in your mobile and if you are talking something like I'm planning to buy a new sofa or chair or some gadget,  automatically FB and Insta shows add related to that and amazon app gives you notifications related to that product, even if you don't need that immediately it will make you to take a look on that product. 

       We all are thinking that FB is just a place where I relax or I can get some knowledge but it's tuning you and it gives you the content which it decides to give you. It's tuning the emotions of people and its automatically bringing change to the behavior of individual human beings. 

        You may say that AI makes our life so undemanding and simple but if you think deeply you know how we are addicted to technology  especially social media. 

       Coming to privacy, you don't have that in any social media platforms. You can 🔐 lock your profile in FB but FB knows everything about you. How I'm saying this ... Did you ever played 🎮 games like OMG or Nametest in FB, if you played that you can clearly understand what I'm saying. 

        We are just like zombies who are getting tunned by these social media platform. 

         Coming to creativity, Before the internet era , if you ask kids to draw something or ask them to do a project they use their own creativity you can see the individuality in their work. Now , if you ask any kid to draw or do some projects they need Google or YouTube and most of their work will be same, where is their own creativityand uniqueness? They may finish the work assigned to them but they never get that satisfaction of using their own thinking and imagination. 

         Try to use social media minimum amount of time even you are using that often don't let it take over to rule your life. 

         Life time on this earth is too short, try to achieve something in life and try to help others , observe how people are living and try to help out them. Don't  become zombies of socialmedia.
